This might be the most depressing time of the year, since all the leaves have fallen from the trees and day is getting really short, at least in this latitude, so it is dark most of the time, it's wet, since the weather is a bit too warm to have snow, but too cold anyways to be outside.
But being outside at the right time might set just one of a kind show in the sky.
These Aurora Borealises I might have missed if I hadn't turned off my headlight when I was walking my dog way too early in the morning.
Or if I had driven just a bit faster than normal, I would have missed this sunrise when the sun is just rising above the horizon and is almost going behind the forest, before it rises again.
Or if I had decided to take another route with my dog when we were on our day walk. Sun went behind that puffy clouds just before it settled in for the day.
